The name, Val di Sole is not casual; here the sun is really the leading star of many days and seasons. The scenery is one of the most fascinating. On the background we can find mountains like the Ortles, Cevedale, Presanella, Adamello and the Brenta Dolomites.
From Mostizzolo to the Passo Tonale, we encounter all the best things mountains can offer: superb peaks, snowy landscapes for skiing also in summer on the Presena glacier, thick woodlands ideal for hikings. On the bottom of the valley there are rivers with abundance of fish, castles, old dwellings where time seemed to stop, churches. The habits, the customs, the typical cuisine, the traditions are always the ones of past times.
In the heigths the tourist resort of Folgarida, Marilleva, Pejo and Passo Tonale are in a position to offer to all those who come to visit us, the best comfort and above all, skiing slopes always perfectly covered with snow during winter seasons.
In summer our mountains will be able to offer easy hikings, mountain-climbings for the more experienced and excursions for nature-lovers in order to admire the many flowers and animals which inhabit the mountains. For a holiday full of sports and recreation the Val di Sole valley is simply a must.
